I have discovered that there is an #actuallyadhd community, one that I’ve been missing, searching for, for so long.
And it’s on tumblr.
The tumblr one is actually quite large- full of people, bustling, loud.
The one here is quieter. Still there, still jut as real, just smaller... and quieter. Quite honestly, I prefer the #actuallyadhd crowd here (although we’re admittedly less than a crowd)
So while I’ll be around in tumblrs ADHD community, I’ll still be an active part of this one, with the benefit of being able to bring things I learn there back here! Which is exciting
Why did this start to sound like a goodbye? It’s not
The point is I feel like I’ll finally be able to contribute more to the #ActuallyADHD community here! And I’m really excited about it.
One of my resolutions for this year is to accept my ADHD more fully, work to understand it, and communicate with my fellow ADHDers and I can’t wait to get started :)
