KAY
2 things.
One that was really fucking weird and gave me a lot of feels.

(This specifically)
2. I would like to try and figure out why I associate so much with insects, and become physically repulsed when people talk about killing them.
Maybe it's a trans thing? Cos a lot of times, we can very easily be treated like insects in a world that hates us
@SSN Same tbh.
Bugs are good too. I talk to spiders a lot tbh
@spiderrobotpig there are some bugs i cant handle. like the hairy ones you find is basements. but i would never kill them. i just usher them into a different room and live in terror. but spiders i adore. and bees. and diaphenous winged bugs like butterflies and grasshoppers. bugs are part of life that many people never question their willingness to destroy and it makes me sad.
@SSN Yeah definitely
@spiderrobotpig @SSN I empathize a lot with this, I am nicer to spiders and corvids than I am to 90% of the people I meet
@RaineyMoon @SSN Corvids and spiders are nicer than 90% of the people I meet tbf
@spiderrobotpig one of the reasons i identify strongly with the trans gruesome twine aesthetic is that i often feel like my "trans journey" is a journey of acceptance and love for a monstrous self?
It could be similar
@spiderrobotpig I loved it and it felt very Cronenberg like to me. I'm cis and those scenes made feel a lot of squicky feelings, but never outright repulsion.
I identified with the anxiety parts the most.
@Rumpelcita Yeah the anxiety feels were bad with me, but there was a physical repulsion through most of it, like physical pain
@spiderrobotpig that sounds really tough. Internet hugs if you want and need them.
Even if I like it when something someone does gives me tons of feelings and sensations, going through the experience can be really draining sometimes. Like "oh, shit why am I even doing this to myself?".
But those experiences give me a lot of insight about myself, so it balances out.
@Rumpelcita Yeah, it was really interesting to experience, and it brought up a lot of interesting feelings
@spiderrobotpig also, I'm glad I got to talk about this Twine with someone a bit. When it came out and I shared it around no one cared much, but now here we are and things feel less lonely, at least for me.
btw: Nice avatar =)
@Rumpelcita I'm glad. I like talking about cool stuff so is good :3
And thanks
@spiderrobotpig ive always felt a particular affection for bugs of all kinds. maybe it is some weird trans thing haha. i used to keep spiders just like loose in my room. i feel bad whenever i see someone kill a spider or any kind of flying bug
