maybe im missing something but whats the point of being here on masto if you cant fit it either in 500ch (+/- 100 or so) or break it into two threaded posts
like is finding the natural breaks in your speech that hard?
walls of text at 500ch already take up a lot of a column at 1080px height
at least with two posts theres a chance for things between them, a break to read them, a breath. mastodon doesn't need more manifestos or long posts, and while i understand it being hard and you needing to make affordances within one hundred and fourty characters, five hundred should be more than enough to find an easy break between thoughts.
transitioning from one thing to another, even if its subtle, trust me, its there. It improves both the flow of your own language, and how people read it. I understand that its harder for some than others, but if theres nothing in the way of it, It's an important skill not only for here, but in all written communica
