@Laurelai yeah, it’s less than ideal but IMO still a better option than the distributed pollution of internal combustion engines
@Laurelai Then things are pretty ideal IMO. I see nuclear as currently the best way to meet most of the baseline grid load and then use renewables to handle peak load

@Laurelai even as dirty as it is though, compare it to the infrastructure required to support internal combustion engines. You have the emissions of the vehicles themselves along with all the refineries and fuel trucks that actually feed all those engines.
@Laurelai and the fuel stations themselves could be repurposed as HVDC charging stations, though we might not need as many of them since people can charge at home too
