So today will be battle with rtl8821ae WiFi card in Linux. Thanks #Realtek for providing fuck all support for anything newer than XP...

@noriko thanks! Although these are for a USB wireless adapter, this one is PCI, the chipset is the same (apart from ae > au) will give it a go and see..

@noriko tried number of things so far, many suggest https://github.com/lwfinger/rtlwifi_new driver, no significant improvement, disabling hardware power management, meh..there is new kernel regression just patched, thing is, seems it worked for circa 4.4 kernels, now not. Not sure what difference there will be with repo you linked, tricky to track all the indie versions out there!
