In my opinion, blocking or ignoring someone on the internet is definitely not a form of abusement of power as opposed to some people wanting to make you believe.

It's the exact opposite of that and the very first and most important form of self-protection and self-empowerment against harassment or energy vampirism.

Maybe it suddenly interrupts a conversation. Maybe the person doesn't know why you do it. That is unfortunate. But is it really worse than you feeling bad in the situation you want to leave? Do you want to have sex with someone even if you don't like it?

Blocking and ignoring means taking care of yourself. Continue doing it, no matter what. ✊❤️
