haven't listened to much of his music myself, more a function of not getting around to it than not enjoying what i've heard. i'm assuming this is the part where funk-leaning folks tell me to change that :P

we're gonna have to start labeling different subtypes of hoists

the cruel hoist, where you're just in-your-face but the reader cannot deny you've hoisted them

the gentle hoist, where it's clearly as a message of love

the offered hoist, where it leads you ALMOST to your hoisting, you have to take the last step and hoist your THINKING
