The article avoids mentioning the US Health Care is organized in such a way that patients & their families are crushed & rendered homeless due to medical debt.

But the research, he said, didn’t match his expectations. “I’ve been looking at other countries and seeing there’s a lot of fee-for-service in other countries, and other countries are struggling with overutilization.”

Now if only we could come up with some scheme that could simplify the "byzantine" funding method mentioned in the article. 🤔
