Even without birdsite I'm having to argue with transphobes on social media. There's an ever-so-reasoanble one in a friend's fb comments. Urgh.
Trans women are women. No amount of polite middle-class bigotry changes that.

I know, and I never expect to change them. I always say something though, because I consider it the very least I can do for any trans people who might see it. And for other cis people to know that these views aren't as mainstream as the media are trying to make them sound.
@hollyamory It does grind you down after a while, though, cis or trans. (I learned that during GamerGate.) They’re not getting much traction with the general public so I’m hoping it’ll die down eventually.
