So, if it was up to the TIME readers this year, as of this moment, it looks like they'd give Person of the Year to Mohammed bin Salman, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia(!) I find this both comforting (because it's less-carpet-bomb-reported world politics) and depressing (because he has a poor human rights record).
Can we just make the Person Queen Elizabeth II, for her *amazing* hat during the Brexit mess? That hat qualifies her more than anyone who's actually on the list.
