Is there a p2p file transfer app for android?
@megfault just sending files to another phone, contact card, photos, nothing more than 50MB
@eribloodlust zip/rar + Bluetooth?
@megfault I don't know how to BT file transfer
@eribloodlust Activate Bluetooth on both devices, pair them, then on the device with the files, select the files and click the share icon (wherever it appears - depends on the file manager, I think). There should be an option to send the files via Bluetooth. The receiving device might have to explicitly accept the transfer.
@megfault thank u very much!
@eribloodlust or install syncthing, pair them and share a folder with the files.
but that might take a while. for whatever reason my devices always need ages to detect each other.
@eribloodlust Syncthing, maybe?
@eribloodlust You also just use ftp! Plenty of file browsers and other things let you setup a temporary ftp server on your phone.
@eribloodlust for what purpose?
there are bittorrent clients and apps to sync files across devices, for example
