there was a term in my college's LGBT resource centre that was like "lesbian man -- noun, a man who is exclusively attracted to lesbians"
....
i... feel like that is really fetishing? But perhaps this is a thing? Like I would understand trans men not feeling comfortable with cishet women but... hm...

@TipsyTentacle @bea it is such an eggmode thing! i know several stories of couples where one person realizes they're a lesbian and the other a trans women in a beautiful mess.

@pointers @TipsyTentacle @bea this was me, except my wife is bi. but yeah. we joke she knew before i did, which is sad and accurate. in the years leading up to figuring it out, i was always like "hmmmm i just feel safer with gays? and most of our friends are lesbians? i am such a good *ally*"

and then after I came out all our friends were like "yeah this makes perfect sense, you were one of us the whole time"
