@cnc Honestly I think everything about sapiosexuality flows from misogyny. It's "women aren't as smart as men," with the extra that any woman HE is attracted to must be an exception that proves the rule. That it makes the sapio the sole judge of "intelligence" and dehumanizes everyone who doesn't meet his standards never seems to bother him.
Is it ableist to reduce potential partners' worth to their cognitive skills? Absolutely. I just think the idea of sapiosexuality is so dishonest that it doesn't even care about cognitive abilities as long as it sends the message, "most girls are dumb."
@cute_weeds @cnc It also sends out a message that most *other* guys are dumb and will do almost anything to get their end away - but *I'm* better than that, I like her for her brain, etc. It's tedious.
