@amy I have one :joy: it's nice, though I got the cheap version and found the body a bit light/plastic for my liking. The nib is good but doesn't quite suit my writing style (aka 'incredibly tiny')
@amy I started with dip pens for fancy calligraphy so I'm all spoiled :P I just got a Lamy Safari! I got the nib a size too big though so I have to wait for the extra-fine to get here before I can really test it.
@cmdrspacebabe i have an extra fine nib for one of my Safari, found it harder to write with than a fine nib. I also have dip pens but never learned how to use them correctly but I'm taking a calligraphy course tonight so maybe that will change!
@amy Oh that's awesome!! They take some getting used to but they're really satisfying once you get the hang of it :D
Yeah I imagine it'll be a little 'scratchier' than the fine nib, but the fine is just too big for my teeny writing ):
@cmdrspacebabe I liked the flex nib for calligraphy and also I have tiny hands :-D . I also own a Lamy Safari and a Lamy Al-Star, but they're essentially the same pen
