I may be a bit dense, but I just realized this morning that mastodon has no ads. Something that annoyed me to no end on Twitter.
@kkarinhawley the uBlock Origin plug-in is an ad-blocker that eliminates sponsored tweets and followed suggestions on twitter (among other things)
Twitter is not usable without it (and arguably still not usable with it)
