What's a fun or decent android game that doesn't rely on pesky free to play mechanics..?

@TipsyTentacle Out There, a Sci-Fi, hardcore, narrative #game.

You're lost, alone in deep space, light-years away from Earth. To come back home, you'll have to salvage resources where you can, jumping from system to system, handling as best as you can the many dangers and incidents inherent to interstellar travel.

Needless to say, death is often at the end of the journey. But starting again is always a pleasure, to discover all the mysteries of the galaxy.

@TipsyTentacle Downwell, is a frenetic mix of shoot and platform, where you're falling down a well while shooting with your feets.

Mark Brown speaks about it way better than I could here : youtube.com/watch?v=i5C1Uj7jJC

I just add that, for me, tactile controls are a chore, and I need a controller to try to make a decent score. But it may be because I suck. :]

@TipsyTentacle Dropsy, a beautiful pixelart point and click #game, in which you're guiding Dropsy, a hideous clown with a golden heart, in a quest to help the inhabitants of his little universe (and hug them in the meantime).

With a ton of hidden secrets, a charming open world, and a story deeper and darker than what it first seems, Dropsy is first a nice tale on difference, goodness, monstrosity, and aliens. Yes, aliens too. :]
