Last night me and my friends finished our DnD campaign that spanned a looong time up until level 20.
We defeated the five ruling dragons, which were the split aspects of Tiamat, establishing five kingdoms over the continent.
In our battle with the final dragon, she morphed into Tiamat, corrupted by the void, and manifestation of entropy.
We managed to kill her, but she managed to kill one of our players, effectively erasing him from all existence and memory, when she was 1 point away from dying.
In the epilogue after the group dissolved, my character had a direct role in peasant revolts opposing imperialist rule.
Great way to end a campaign.

@Sylvhem @Mirzaba Well, you can always "Spelljammer" stuff back into existance if you are willing to face the perils of the great wheel, since the infinity of the great wheel is where all things existant and non-existant end up into. Just need a "recover what was lost" hook.
