the baby just dumped her drink out.

Still a good day. Just a little extra cleaning. Right?

We survived, mess is clean and she is in her high chair so any further mess will be contained.

After I put her in her high chair I discovered she stole a brownie while I was cleaning.

*shakes head* Kids.

I love them, but some days only God knwos why.

@jessmahler I don't/can't have any but they're pretty great even if messy haha.

@PlanetaryKnight If you like them, you can try to adopt. Or borrow a few, with the advantage that you can return them when the mess is too much.

But they aren't for everyone. Anytime we're talking on the phone and the kids get up to something my girlfriend starts singing "Oooh I'm... never having kids, never having kids, never having kids. Ooooh I'm.... never having kids, never having kids..."

But I agree about them being pretty great.

Adopting takes a lot more money than I can afford right now, I've looked into it over the years ha. We can't get a house, either, which ruins our chances on applications.

But my best friend has two kiddos that are my nieces which is nice because I can spoil them at least whenever I can.

@PlanetaryKnight I'm adopted and have always wanted to "pay it forward" and we've run into similar issues. Sucks that they make it so hard when so many kids need homes.

Having kids you can freely spoil is always fun. All the good stuff of kids, none of the hassle. 😉
