man, were there ANY pre-DS handheld roguelikes besides dragon crystal and pokemon mystery dungeon? i sure can't find any except for homebrew ports of nethack, etc. that's surprising. it's a format that would work really well on a handheld provided you have a quicksave.
@matt what about Torneko's dungeon thingy on the SNES? Pretty much like mystery dungeon.
@Filene i wouldn't really call the SNES a handheld console 😛 plus no english release.
