Postfurry is just furry.
We already had lizards and dragons and plushies and sentient starships that we stole from The Culture. I'm pretty sure we were all aware furry was a metaphor.

@Irick You know, I'm not sure. I think a lot of folk can see some characters as the personality stereotype applied to an animal, yet I doubt so many think that being a furry means they are aware that they are a transcendental consciousness. They might be making an escapist fantasy, right?
