So I play/know very little Magic the Gathering stuff, BUT this combo looks incredibly evil and bullshit. Because you can just steal your opponent's entire turn and then repeat it again by summoning another creature? And it also gives me the mental image of a Carmen Sandiego type super thief stealing concepts like time whilst escaping on the adorable squirrel-pony. They're partners in time crime. witches.town/media/1XCC34WIIal witches.town/media/mffYdmOjLiR

@BadWrongFun Oh yeah, MTG is notorious for having broken combos like that. I personally have an entire deck based around discarding cards from my own deck-- the two core cards are a creature with */*, where * is the number of creature cards in my graveyard, and a creature that can discard more than half of my deck at once when I summon it.

MTG is nightmare fuel

@MariBari Oh no, I'm familiar with stuff like that. Hell, I'm friends with somebody who does tournaments on the regular. So I've seen him summon infinite cat tokens, gain infinite life points, and create hydras with infinite stats. But "no, you aren't allowed to play the game anymore while I beat you up" is just a whole other level of bullshit.

@BadWrongFun Yeah... Usually there are extra rules in place forbidding combos that can just instantly break the game. I can only hope they caught this one... :slime:
