@geekalogian It's been a term in rpg circles for years. Don't think it has anything to do with critical role. It's just like a joking term for like pointless arguments about systems and just a way to talk about guilty pleasures. I mostly just have it as a username as a sort of way of telling myself to chill about unimportant things.

I actually never really really seen Critical Roll or Adventure Zone. Only real actual play podcasts I've listened to are One Shot and Six Feats Under since they do a lot of different systems and that means I can get a taste for how they actually play out in practice.

@BadWrongFun yeah using a variety of systems is a nice feature. TAZ is trying their hand at that right now, just started a superhero arc with the FATE system. I also recommend Very Random Encounters, each season is standalone in a different rule system, and they randomly generate as much as possible for each character and campaign.

To each their own, though, and always great to meet another gamer geek :D
