@AdrienHoodie why even have apostrophes? It's an terrible letter that obscured the language development. Most people don't even know that - 's possessive case is actually - es and on computers it takes the same amount of bits to represent.
It's not that hard to understand that -nt could simply just become suffix derived from "not" that negates mood or definition. Other languages seem to do this just fine.
