ACTUALLY black friday was originally a pagan holiday, it goes back to an ancient Druidic custom of stampeding over one another to buy new Druid potions and stuff
Here we go! Are you a trans creator who could use some support and exposure, or do you know one? Add your name to https://github.com/Transgiving/Transgiving for #Transgiving 2017, where we provide a list of trans people you can support instead of or in addition to your Black Friday spending.
If you're familiar with Github, you can add yourself and submit a PR; otherwise, email us and we'll add you ASAP!
Please boost and spread the word!
Sharing an Nonbunnary because it's always good to have both a bunny and some enby visibility in your cauldron (or is it timeline ?).
(It seems to be by Merlin Grant who has a fb page with many other lgbt+ animals)
Every time I agree to use Hangouts in order be accommodating I lose at least a half an hour of my life and sorely regret it. It no longer even pretends to work on Firefox/Linux, which I guess is a blessing since in my experience it never did actually work even when it claimed to.
hey so since y'all really like
and i didn't realize y'all could copy it, please spread around the appropriate credit to my pal Cam! She's asked to point me towards her discord username, CAMERATA#4771 for thanking her for these good emoji.

Anyway, it's time to get extremely online and cruise the queer web.

Shameless plug tootin' time!
I'm making an 80's style text-parser adventure game in my own engine. It can do stuff the Sierra AGI engine cannot, like parallax 3D rotation.
Questions, Follows and Boosts always welcome! 😄
First shot at some vermicelli couching! The couched thread is genuine yak wool 😸 https://witches.town/media/3N03e2EeGHB1YMv59Go
I've mentioned it before but I wanna remind ya'll in Witches.town of a 90's Japanese tabletop RPG called Witch Quest. There's a fans translation of the main book (but not the first book that's just an example of play). Think of it as Kiki's Delivery Service: the RPG. In the game solve people's problems with magic. Players are paired together in two types of character: young witches, and their talking cat partners.
Here's the pdf for the main book.

Here's a PDF of an ascii version of the tarot cards used in the game.

today my glamorous polyamorous lesbian life was mostly trying to buy water softener pellets in a small enough quantity to transport back to my water softener under human power
Recurse Center is trying out mini-batches (just one week): https://www.recurse.com/blog/121-come-to-rc-for-a-one-week-retreat , first one open to non-alums is in NYC January 8-12 2018!
Recurse Center is "a writer's retreat for programmers" with social rules intended to curb the stupid status nonsense that gets in the way of learning and having fun. Questions, experimentation, and confusion are all highly encouraged :)
Scholarships for underrepresented folks are available for the longer (6- and 12-week) batches.
I did a 12-week batch at Recurse Center in early 2014 and wrote some reflections on it at https://somerandomidiot.com/blog/2015/07/20/retrospective/ a year and change later. I'm still walking the path I started on there :)
leafblowers: not even once
I think this #embroidery #workinprogress is going to be the last time I voluntarily work with this glow-in-the-dark thread, which somehow manages to snag against previous threads, itself, the fabric, stray bits of dust... but hopefully it'll look cool when it's done.
not peak Wisconsin, but maybe upper-tier: small child in this bar is being taught, in no uncertain terms, to ABSOLUTELY NEVER STAND HOLDING THE DOOR OPEN; previously glaring onlookers are nodding in staunch agreement
