I have a friend who travels to countries without a big Christmas tradition in December every year, and I'm definitely going to start stealing this idea.
@Kensan last year he went to Morocco. This year he's running around to various places further south in Africa; he's also gone to Cambodia IIRC (although I may be confusing that with another friend's trip)

@yomimono Some years ago I spent Christmas on a small, remote island in Thailand. Great food, warm ocean&sun and no Christmas tree :p
