@sphakos My instance hides follower counts entirely (everyone has a displayed follower count of 666 ) and I really like that choice. You can still click through to see a list of followers if you want to know whether someone's the Mastodon equivalent of an egg, but that snap-judgment "this person is popular" is just... not a thing.
