Would appreciate recommendations for books/long-form piece on being an editor.

Ah…DC. The only place where you go to a tech conference and afterward everyone wants to connect on LinkedIn.

@eribloodlust ohh. sounds like you’ve worked on some stuff with groups like trans*h4ck? any of these strike your fancy?
techreserve.org/
technicalmajority.com/

most of those are politics/organizing/human rights focused—which is only a subset of social justice work, though.

So…if I hypothetically had to spend a night in New York for an interview in the Flatiron District…what would be the cheapest comfortable way to do such a thing?

Bonus: a bathtub to myself.

I’m told my talk went well. But of course, the only folks who come to talks on inclusion in tech are people who already care.

But I think that’s okay in this case? Very little of it was making the case, and most of it was creating a framework for action.

@eribloodlust yes! I know of a few, what sort of stuff are you looking for?

@kissane !!! friend is it truly you?! JOYFUL DAY.

@candle oh wow. what a time to watch that for the first time. most apt commentary on our current political climate.

omg this talk is so close to done. I hesitate to say it’s lit. But this is one of my final slides. This talk is for content strategists. witches.town/media/wSwYIvNkL3y

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I'm *completely reasonably* excited for this. youtube.com/watch?v=zB4I68XVPz

I realize this is “has returned” rather than “is back up” but I don’t care, y’all have returned to my internet machine and that makes me joyful.
