Modern governance seems so out of phase with the rest of modern life. We have communities online that we can freely join or ignore, we have incredible technology, we basically each build our own realities.

Yet we're still bound to nation states, groveling at the feet of rich politicians, begging them to not screw us over in favour of corporate interests.

This is a bug we ought to be able to fix.
