It's frustrating because the still decent people who own most of the money (the middle class) don't feel that they should do this because so long as they don't see it doesn't really exist to them. They don't feel that the money they give would make a difference (because they don't feel that they could make a difference). And I'm saying that from experience.

Because I can probably afford it, I may or may not make "let's make X cry"-themed donations.

Like "let's make Adobe cry" with donations to Krita and Blender. Or "let's make the French State cry" with donations to La Quadrature du Net and to the workers' union SUD. Or "let's make Apple cry" with donations to Ubuntu, The Pirate Bay, and MPD.

I should also give money to the Abbé Pierre Foundation. This is the most important.
