hot shower always helps me when that happens. and hot tea. hot rice pack on the neck. just heat in general helps my muscles in that kinda situation? Idk if would help you but definitely would recommend the hot shower/bath above all.

@kel Yeah, for sure. I've been in a...three, three and a half year fallow period at this point, and I feel like you dont just come out of that and go back to the same path again, yknow? Things change n you gotta build new faith and belief and meaning all the time.

@literorrery This actually did make me feel a little better about questioning it, wondering exactly what my reasons are for knowing, which I think really just boils down to "my body is maybe a little different and I wanna know what it's doin."

If I'm kinda variant without being intersex, then Im ok with that. If I turn out to be intersex? Also cool. I think just keeping in mind the truest reason to do it is just to see what my body is doing puts it in a better perspective. Thanks. :)

a nb veiling blog I follow posted something again and it made me think back to it in my own practice. i miss headcovering but i just. don't know why i would be doing it anymore? I never really did it bc any deity asked, I just feel some reason to do it for my own sake? i had some taboos around it and made it about self care, but..

if those reasons have changed or dont exist now, then I'd feel wrong veiling because I wouldn't be doing it with any sense of purpose. :/ I feel like Im finding/building my religion from the ground up again lately.
