I have moved to @vi
I like to think about all the money, time and research that went into creating the internet and here I am using it to buy socks
I didn't realise what number I was on
oh well, personally I think soixante-dix is a funnier number than 69 anyway
"and so you see, execution continues while the condition holds"
"yeah, b- but..."
"you have a question sweetie?"
"timmy- timmy at school said suzie's mum doesn't use loops"
"well, that's does just silly darling, take no notice of him, how else would she iterate"
"he- he said she just uses recursion"
"well, uh, that's, um, yes, well, I suppose that's possible, but why wouldn't she ju-"
"he said she writes in erlan-"
"okay, enough! I don't want to hear any more talk about what suzie's mum gets up to her with compiler, and I may have to have a word with your principal"
I wouldn't normally kinkshame, but Afficher plus
my favourite colour is cmyk(74, 95, 0, 0) or #663399
it's not only a great colour it has a story that will make you cry: http://meyerweb.com/eric/thoughts/2014/06/19/rebeccapurple/
my favourite book is The Rehearsal by Eleanor Catton, if anyone was wondering
her second book, The Luminaries, won The Man Booker Prize, but The Rehearsal is much shorter and I enjoyed it more 🤷
eg. 4, 5, 6, 8, 16, 24, 26, 27, 31
I'd do that question thingy but I'd end up answering a lot of them with "lol"
tired: pentagrams
wired: purple pentagrams
okay, time to climb out of this rabbit hole
er, why was I looking up timezones again?
we could have got by just fine with WebRings, honest
search engines were a mistake
google's index has been seo'd to heck
it does come up in google, and playing with searx seems to confirm that's where it comes from, but ddg doesn't use google for results (at least I didn't think they did, and they don't say they do)
Plus I don't get where that result comes from, since ddg uses bing, yahoo and yandex for sources and none of them return that link for that search 🤔
this isn't the first one I've seen
getting annoyed with duckduckgo returning br*itb*rt links in the top results for innocuous searches 🤢
ARMS™ isn't called BRAS in french 🙁
