The trains in this country are a fucking debacle and in unrelated news I'm accidentally headed to London.
My train home was delayed by forty minutes and to compensate they took out all the stops between here and London without telling anybody.
@Murkrow oh dear, so it happens often enough that people generally know what's going on? 😯
@vi commuters yes, I imagine there would have been a riot if it had been a Saturday evening. Plus we did end up stopping at a large place on the way rather than going the whole way to London so it's not so bad.

You get on the train, they lock the doors, get the train up to speed and then a smattering of people goes "hey we're not stoppi- hey does this not stop at [little place]? Are we fast to [middle-sized place]? Are we fast to [large place]? Wait fuck are we fast to London now???"
And then everyone grumbles and sighs about how they're going to miss dinner now and fuck's sake tut tut.
