What does « masse gratis » mean?
As in « Le maire masse gratis »
The mayor... something about free.
@Incandescente thanks, and "gives" a massage ☺
@vi Oh ok thanks
@vi masser (masse here) is to massage and gratis is a colloquial way of saying for free (= gratuit)
@sempervirenx I thought it was massage but that didn't seem right... the mayor is giving me a free massage?
@vi @sempervirenx
Something like :
the mayor is giving free massages
Not sure in which context this sentence makes sense, though. XD
@Seipas @sempervirenx it's from the magikarp jump game, and it not making a lot of sense is why I was confused 😅
@vi not to you, to your pokemon so it can be energic again
@sempervirenx that makes more sense, still weird though
@vi i agree but we do make a fish jump in the air for fun so *shrugs*
@vi The mayor is giving massage for free
I must be translating this wrong, thought I
but nope it really is about massages and the mayor is just weird
mayor of french carptown: something something something gratis
me, tourist in french carptown: uhh, you want to give me something for free?
mayor: oui !
me: okay, I guess... HEY! Why are you touching my pokemon!?
@vi makes a massage, idk the verb in english sorry
