@abgd lol, I wouldn't do that to a person, I wouldn't wish leftbook on anyone

@abgd

Makes sense.

I think there are some groups on fb where I could ask for more recent recommendations, but I think they skew ML. And I'm not into enduring the fight that would most likely break out in the comments.

I guess that means they're not good groups. I'm glad I'm not on fb.

retoot if ur a commie/anti-imperialist/leftist or if ur queer i need people to follow

@b_cavello yeah, and I mean, I guess we're hoping that mastodon will be something different and that , reasons to use both sites.

Like I don't think I'd want media companies on here at all, and if I want to follow a news outlet I'd still go to twitter.

Who knows. I wonder how I'll feel about mastodon once I have a lot more followers and followees.

i have a phone bill that is past due and need $30 to help pay for it. if anyone can help that would be gratefully appreciated: cash.me/$KiCarter

I'm still attached to birdsite, even though it gets worse and worse.

I still think we should stage an armed takeover of Twitter HQ and collectivize it. Heck, we should turn it into a weird mastodon instance with 140 character limit and blue birds and shit.

Or I could use Mastodon more and forget about birdsite but... my followers D:

start treating autism diagnosis as a good thing! encourage your friends/children to know themselves!!! give them the opportunity to love their identities and/or disabilities. don't teach them that they are inherently bad.

I would give a lot to not have cried when I was young about the possibility of being autistic. autism has such a positive impact on my life now. it's amazing how different things are when you're not suppressing and instead embracing. teach ppl to love & embrace who they are!!!

Anyone know a good book for leftists torn between #anarchism and (state) #communism/#leninism? Cuz I am, and could use one. 😰

@abgd possibly the best approach would be to like. Read the Conquest of Bread AND The State and Revolution and start forming your opinions that way.

Though this is coming from someone who hasn't read either of those.
