@grime_witch This is me. I even sometimes avoid using characters that I know get turned into emoticons. Like I use c: instead of (: or ^..^ instead of ^_^

I definitely thing this stems from a refusal to use emoji when they "came out" because they were trendy. I don't think I reject trends like that anymore, but this one stuck.

Also kaomoji are so much cuter and better, ☆*:.｡.o(≧▽≦)o.｡.:*☆
