My new currency system's smallest unit of money is the whole Sun. Luckily, the sun is pretty renewable and actually generates much more energy than it consumes. It's a cash-based scheme, so to purchase something you have to physically hand the Sun to someone else, and the moment it's enclosed in the palm of their hand, the goods or services are yours, my friend!
@Gargron yeah, the whole selling point of Patreon in the first place (IMHO) was "we bundle up a whole bunch of tiny payments to creators you want to support so there's only one transaction fee", and now here they are putting a transaction fee on every single pledge, we may as well just all go back to the 'Tip me on Paypal' widgets.
