@caraellison I wish I could remember what show this was, but something I watched recently had an excellent gag where a character is telling her American friend about her favourite British sitcom:
"It's fantastic! It's about a working class girl and a posh girl who live together in the same flat. It's been running since the 60s. There are almost 20 episodes!"
@caraellison (I think that joke was from the new season of Lady Dynamite, but I'm not totally sure.)
