Genuinely not sure if thinking like that was a result of transitioning in a Red state or society collapsing around us or some combination of both.

I spend a lot of time here thinking about if I could kill someone with whatever's in arm's reach. :/

Not aggressively but like if someone was attacking me, how much damage could I do with these decorative wooden letters in time.

I saw some posts mentioning Anfa and her kittens making the rounds earlier and don't know if the greater context came with it but her owner rescued four kittens from an abandoned house a few months ago, and there were a few posts of Anfa being stressed out by her new roommates until a couple of weeks passed and they posted this pic, which is maybe the sweetest dang thing I saw in all of 2017

Very fun but extremely dumb, in both the 'action movie' and 'that didn't make any sense' ways. I don't think I've ever said "I don't think [x] works that way" about as many things in a single movie before, but Jackson and Reynolds playing off each other carried it through the rough patches.
The shootout and chase sequences were impressively scaled and frenetic but still managed to feel bland somehow.

Trying to use Stardew Valley as an inspiration for productivity and compartmentalization in real life. Set aside certain tasks as daily must-dos but then one day focus on making progress through a specific task rather than trying to juggle too much in a day and not completing anything to satisfaction, be it working on an illustration piece, getting a longer bike ride in or heading to the mines for a few hours to kill slimes.

My stick razor is way too dull and I can't find the right head to my electric one and I am just having a real crisis of stubble this week.

Someone just drove by blasting Twisted Sister, unsure if this is a good omen or an ill portent for the rest of the day.

Go to a BoA branch to close my account. Get told their bankers are busy but I can call the customer service number to do it instead. Call the number and get put on hold for 25 minutes while a robot tells me to do my banking online.

When it says "this call may be recorded" does that include me screaming at the hold music
