Go to a BoA branch to close my account. Get told their bankers are busy but I can call the customer service number to do it instead. Call the number and get put on hold for 25 minutes while a robot tells me to do my banking online.

When it says "this call may be recorded" does that include me screaming at the hold music

People comfort themselves by thinking "we removed this specific person who committed these crimes so these crimes are done with" to the point of allowing themselves to ignore the aspect of "we need to change the parts of society that allowed this monster to operate for so long in the first place before it creates another one."

I'm glad to see Nassar get dealt some manner of justice but I feel like people are treating it like taking down this one guy somehow emblematically solves sexual assault

I still have to get Erchitu to 110 to open the Embassy quests but looking at Wowhead comments it looks like she won't need to redo the full Highmountain and Suramar (phew) questlines to unlock the Allied Races once she gets there.

Tentative plans right now:
I think I want to pick up CC pretty much where I left off, only doing three posts a week instead of daily ones to prevent burnout and stream these drawing sessions on Twitch.
In addition to that, and this is the big project, I want to do weekly more in-depth posts on some subjects, not necessarily individual monsters, with better art pieces and an accompanying podcast and at the end of a year period collect them into a book. I had a possible v exciting cohost for the podcast who I pitched to last year so hopefully they're still on board.
Also, still need to come up with a new name.

That was, with the most charitable reading I can muster, a good cast in a very bland and highly derivative film;
at worst, it was also so anti-science and fearmonger-y that I'm surprised Kirk Cameron didn't make a cameo. It also did not do great by its female characters.
The best thing I can say is the distribution method worked out for the best, because if I had paid to see this in a theater I would have been pissed.
I don't even want to address the very ending before I have some time to ruminate on it a bit more.
