Nerds, help me out: fire magic in D&D, evocation or conjuration?

Work has been going to hell more than usual lately enough on its own, but the Barnes & Noble thing today really strengthens my resolve to get the fuck out of retail.

Between Twitch, Patreon and advertising I want to make a go out of it.

Threw on The Ritual while I'm trying to finish this piece because some people whose opinions I trust liked it and otherwise went in kind of blind. Solid, by-the-numbers horror flick bolstered by some cool set pieces and a gorgeous folklore-inspired monster design. Not my highest recommendation but definitely didn't disappoint.

Couldn't figure out where I knew the lead from but looking it up now he's been in all the Wright/Pegg productions so that's probably it.

I mean, I could only Learn More from here, I'd be hard-pressed to Learn Less.

I have tomorrow off with no particular pressing concerns for once, so I am writing down a list of ten things I need to get done or at least knock a chunk out of and will aim to check at least five of them by the end of the night.

I did this entire D&D character commission and I didn't even sneak in a single The Adventure Zone reference :c

I could just call it The Cloverfield Index and launch it unannounced one night and get some traffic in before everyone realizes it's terrible :/

Managed to get my blood pressure down to "still bad but low enough that it's within the levels listed on the chart posted on the machine" levels so moving in the right direction, at least.

Not quite as far back on Short Cuts as I thought, as I definitely remember this piece on the black detective who infiltrated the Klan via phone correspondence.

LRB if this Laurie Reeves guy knows so much about electronic mail then why doesn't he even have an email address 🤔

I wish I enjoyed/was skilled at coloring anywhere near as much as any other step of this process.
