Moving my desk necessitated moving the TV so taking the opportunity to detangle and rearrange the Museum of Obsolete Game Consoles and Media Players and I have ended up with all cords accounted for all devices, but perplexingly an extra set of AV cables that were attached to my switcher and I just realized as I'm typing this they're FOR the switcher and I'm just leaving this whole toot as public record of my incompetence.

On the heels of Black Panther, it was also very refreshing to see an all-female team of professionals with varying skills and backgrounds, especially since it didn't call attention to it except for the one line that *explicitly* called attention to it for no reason and that felt super unnatural and really stuck out.

I also think this might be the first American movie I've seen in a while (if not ever) where I don't think any white dude had a single line of dialogue? Possibly the ambulance driver near the beginning, I can't recall him exactly.

Slow-burn philosophical horror uncomfortably wearing a thriller suit with an indie flick's score. At its best when you have no idea what's going on. Ending meandered a bit too much and might've tried too hard to answer things it could've just left unsaid.

one, she didn't even have an initial death to have an alternate to? And two, that is just a really weird feature to single out promotionally.

Just encountered someone on Tumblr who roleplays as Dig 'Em the Cereal Frog so I'm... I'm just gonna go back to baking these chickpeas for a while.

Gonna be real for a second here: I forgot "death bed" was a normal, common expression so I had been thinking the comic with that name must have been an adaptation of the schlock horror flick with the demonic bed that eats people.
