I know this is a loaded question but
who's got a good barbecue sauce recipe
@reibeatall Doing some pulled pork in the slow cooker tomorrow
@tashepard Ok so my go-to for this is actually not to use a bbq sauce. I make a mixture of paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper, cinnamon, brown sugar, and onion powder. Rub that all over the pork. Heat some olive oil in a skillet until it shimmers, then sear the pork on all sides, about two minutes or so a side.
Then I throw it into a crock pot with sliced onions and a bit of apple cider vinegar.
Lordy I love doing pulled pork.
@reibeatall Ah, cool, thanks. This pretty much lines up with what we were gonna try, although was gonna do the sauce after and didn't think on adding any vinegar to the pork itself so I will def throw that in :D I will never say no to more vinegar
@tashepard Yeah, if I do a BBQ sauce, I usually just do it at the end. Either I'll shred all the pork then add a bit on, or just use it on the sandwiches.
@tashepard ohh ho ho ho ho ho ho.
Important counter question: what are you gonna use the sauce for?
