@amsomniac Not super much. I'm basically a casual consumer trying to branch out for the first time (hence expanding search beyond carrier phones), so if things get super involved or technical I might not follow, but I'd love to see what set-ups people have been using and loving! Thanks for sharing yours.

@0x3F Thanks for jumping in! I'd been hearing the same about it being great for its price but with the camera caveat, so I'm glad to hear it face-to-face from somebody, so to speak, to confirm.

@Mutiny Thank you for the catch! Whoops, I got them mixed up.

My consumer-unreplaceable phone battery is kicking the bucket, and it's been a couple of years, so I guess I'm getting a new phone soon. Anybody feel particularly strongly about a certain phone model? I'm staying Android, but considering anything that will run on T-Mobile (a CDMA network? I'm not exactly sure what that means), including phones they don't carry but will work, like a Pixel 2 or a 5t.

@likecroft I agree with you on her character type, and I would love that twist! I'd love to know if her attitude towards other planets and species changes by the time of the attack, or if it hasn't (and thus probably why she's attacked, ha ha). I wonder how much of her characterization we're gonna get via flashback.

@demonbratart Ahh, Opal looks so good! How did you get that effect on her bow? Watercolors?

donphan.social is up! Although registrations are not open at the time, as I still have to set everything up. I'll make a proper announcement when it will be!

Politics are like an accent: if you think someone hasn't got any, it just means they share yours.

I think it’s important to quit framing Mastodon as a Twitter replacement. They both have different uses!

Mastodon’s where you go to build/find community in a decentralized space, while Twitter’s where you go to emulate the feeling of sticking your head into a boiling vat of cooking oil.

It's okay if you didn't get it all done today.

ON A HAPPIER NOTE, "Hadestown" is good.
