Reading today's Magic story and... there's something about the way they write Liliana that consistently bothers me.
There's something about the very specific way that she's detached and lighthearted about her trauma that doesn't ring authentic to me, and I can't figure out why. It's like... the levity makes sense as an outward mask, but it also carries into her internal monologue and it fails at sounding jaded?
