Making friends with strangers online is fun because if any are stabby they can't stab you so you can keep being friends.

For my day job, I wrestle long coils of specially-shielded refined semiprecious metal into the walls and ceilings of buildings. I use this metal to channel artificially-generated versions of the power of clouds and thunderstorms into living areas so people can use it for light, cooking, and communication. I have to install special safety devices to stop it from accidentally killing people.

I'm a hecking lightning sorceress.

Things that are ok:

* Masto becomes super popular and kills Twitter.
* Masto remains a small niche place for an audience that is queer and weird and nazis are banned.
* The working class seizes the means of production and a centralized solution meant to serve the people is instituted, a Twitter driven not by profitability but for the public good.
