So, do we have any idea why uploads are broken? Surely I'm not the only person with a broken fresh install

@c1t7 Also, the .tk thing sort of worked but uploads are still broken so I'm pretty sure I'm just done trying

@c1t7 I made a swap on mine, and that was the install that almost worked, but that database stuff was broken. So I had to try again with this one and now I'm very annoyed. Considering just trying to get a new domain for a little bit to see if it works, but I'm hella broke. Maybe .tks are still free?

@c1t7 I tried both, but currently doing the docker install because this: https://hackernoon.com/deploying-mastodon-on-digital-ocean-f54b94c7f5b8 is the closest I've gotten to running, but not making the database user root messed me up. So I followed the steps, but made sure the database user was root, and it's refusing to connect and my letsencrypt logs are saying I'm rateLimited and let's encrypt says that I can't get out of that for at least a week

@c1t7 Nah, my hour limit ran out, which was good. But apparently there's a weekly limit of certificate authorizations, and I've hit that because I've had to reinstall fresh like 20 times

So...apparently I have to wait an entire week for the Let's Encrypt thing to run it's course. Which is absolutely terrible.

I wish I wasn't autistic sometimes so I could just not even worry about this damn thing and just move on.

But I can't. So, if we could maybe update the Production guides so you could actually make a runnable instance with them, that would be awesome.

@TrollDecker Yeah, but I had to wipe the system because masto kept not freaking working becasue the "Production Guide" doesn't actually work

Like, is there a way to get an old certification back because it says I've done too many now

So, now nginx won't start back up and letsencrypt won't generate a key for me so....I dunno what to do
