HE TASTES LIKE YOU BUT SWEETER
Well poop.
Guess I'll just try to wipe it again and run through it one more time?
Something isn't working and clearly I'm just gonna make it worse the more I try >^<
@MightyPork I'm using a linux box to SSH into a Linux VM.
Tried it with Windows once and I wanted to die haha
@MightyPork Nop, same thing
@MightyPork Hmm. I can try to jump in through the IP instead of the domain and see if that helps?
Nop.
I am hella stuck here. Just keep getting Could not find rake-12.0.0 in any of the sources (Bundler::GemNotFound)
Okay, deleted the ./vendor/bundle directory and am just installing fresh.
Hopefully that will work?
PLEASE BE CORRUPTION COS I DON'T WANNA DO THIS OVER AND OVER AGAIN LIKE ALWAYS
Shit, assets still won't precompile. URG
I AM SO GOOD WHAT
So, good news, I'm 95% sure I understand the problem
I'm also 95% sure I'm not entirely sure how to fix it.
GONNA TRY THO
I think the main issue is I have NO idea what my DB's name is tbh
Feel like I'm going to have to start from scratch again, and I REALLY don't wanna do that...
I can figure this out!
Nop, that wasn't it. I think I never made the database, and that's why it's freaking out. But also nothing seems to be working >^<
... *sigh*
Goddamnit, I think I figured it out
UPDATE:
I'm getting Peer authentication failed for user "mastodon"
So...I clearly goofed something, but I can't quite figure out what tbh
OH I THINK I GOT IT HOLD ON
@MightyPork it looks like my db:compile is failing? the echo was shorter that time haha
@MightyPork Oooooh I'll try that thanks :3
Huh. Ran bundle install and everything is there, I think?
but when I run RAILS_ENV=production bundle exec rails assets:precompile it just dies after webpacker is trying to compile assets
Getting a GemNotFound error?
