Okay, so witches.academy works.
witches.academy/about/more gives us the something went wrong page
and when we log in we just get a blank page.
Any ideas? we've got everything consistent in git, so we're at a loss at this point tbh
@dconley Not entirely sure where that would be or how to modify that
@spiderrobotpig I don't know either, unfortunately. Varnish? Nginx? Possibly in there somewhere but I'm not an ops witch.
@dconley @spiderrobotpig no, sorry :P
@spiderrobotpig Are you deploying with docker?
@InspectorCaracal No, the other admin doesn't use Docker.
Unsure specifically what we're using
@spiderrobotpig Okay! Try this command, let me know if it gives you an error:
sudo systemctl restart mastodon-*.service
@InspectorCaracal No error, just nothing happens
@spiderrobotpig Bah, I guess that would've been Too Easy.
It sounds like the web service isn't running properly, but I'm not sure how to troubleshoot it without knowing exactly what environment you're running in, unfortunately. 😓
@InspectorCaracal Is okay, we're definitely getting some sort of type error.
May just nuke and try again?
@spiderrobotpig look at the browser console
@ashkitten Didn't even know that would help. Oki :3
@ashkitten We get this? ypeError: V is undefined[Learn More]
@spiderrobotpig idk honestly
@ashkitten You want we should nuke and try again?
@spiderrobotpig i think it would work if you were just working off of master instead of your cherry-picked commits
@ashkitten Yeah, we were also thinking that tbh.
So...we may just try and undo the cherry-picks and just instance block >.>
@spiderrobotpig yeah it might not even be worth it to whitelist at this point
@ashkitten Yah is a lot. But, instance blocking is fine and well too, and we can just be fairly proactive instead of reactive?
@spiderrobotpig Ooooh, that's your new instance ?
@Sylvhem Will be whenever we can get it running again haha
@spiderrobotpig Good luck!
@Sylvhem Thanks :3
@spiderrobotpig You're welcome ;).
@spiderrobotpig That sounds like a htaccess (or whatever the cool kids use nowadays instead of apache) issue
