Just a reminder that this exists, and it is good.
@Caelyn Bluefluke's guide is easily one of the best primers on Chaos Magick we've found.
Usable tech, unlike Liber Null haha
@spiderrobotpig I like the no bullshit approach. When I'm interested in something, I tend to just read around it and a starting point is really helpful for that.
@Caelyn Definitely. And, given that it takes a really agnostic point of view, it works really well and manages to explain without the fluff
@spiderrobotpig Yeah, it fits very nicely with my weird agnostic heathen thing. Might have to give it a try.
@Caelyn Yah, a Lokean who is relatively athiestic, but still acknowleges deities.
we understand at least sort of where you come from haha
@spiderrobotpig My take is that whether or not deities actually exist isn't all that relevant to my needs. I find prayer and ritual a comfort and an aid to processing my thoughts. Additionally, deity figures are a good a source of inspiration and aspiration as any. The model of magic as brain hacking just seems like a logical extension to that.
@Caelyn Yeah exactly.
For us, it's simply believe.
As long as we believe the gods exist they do.
And that's roughly how we magic
@spiderrobotpig just lo let you know, that starts an auto download on Android phones. Rather startling. Consider a warning next time?
@Gargoylezoo Oh yeah totally.
Honestly had no idea it did that tbh
@spiderrobotpig pdfs are wierd, they open in browser on computers but flammable by default on phones.
@Gargoylezoo We will absolutely keep that in mind when we link it again.
Sorry again
@spiderrobotpig no worries! :grin:
@spiderrobotpig *download
Honestly, I need to start proofreading these things
@spiderrobotpig Ohhhh, that is pretty h*ckin' cool.
