If youtube would stop playing unskippable ads, that'd be nice
@spiderrobotpig good, I mean he simultaneously deserves it and doesn't but do it anyway
@steeliestllama He'll get us back for it tbf
@spiderrobotpig uBlock is the ad blocker I use, and in conjunction with my cauldron of other plugins I watch youtube with no ads
(also birbsite with no promoted tweets)
@aprrrl Oooooooh neat.
Gonna see if there's a firefox version
@spiderrobotpig There is! If just uBlock doesn't work try uBlock plus NoScript, though you'll have to play around with which script sources youtube needs to work and which ones are adversarial
@aprrrl awwwwwwwwwwwww yissssssssssssss
Thanks :3
@spiderrobotpig Personally, I use AdBlock Plus to get rid of them.
@Sylvhem Gonna try ublock for now, but if it doesn't work, we'll switch to that. feel like there was a reason we stopped using ABP
@spiderrobotpig At least for right now, having YouTube Red eliminates *all* ads from Youtube on at least desktop and mobile, provided you're logged in, of course.
@DexteriousJones True, but also we're broke until tomorrow, when we can reactivate our subscription haha
@spiderrobotpig In that case, I think most of the adblockers kill Youtube ads, at least on the desktop.
@DexteriousJones ublock does not apparently
@spiderrobotpig Is that Ublock or Ublock Origin?
@DexteriousJones Ublock, not origin
Going to find a way to blame Loki for this
